The uranium spot price delivered by ʶԳ’s Uranium Price Panel surged up more than three dollars to $68.88 per pound U3O8, up from $65.81/lb. last week, as the market continued to rise on the back of two recent utility requests for proposals (RFPs). Japanese nuclear operator Kansai Electric is looking for a delivery of 200,000 pounds of U3O8 between June and September. US utility Duke is looking for a delivery of 300,000 lbs. U3O8 per year from 2026 to 2029.
