  • Positive signals and concrete actions in favor of CCS have emerged in recent weeks from the Trump administration. Although CCS tax credits and research dollars are in limbo for now, the administration has taken steps to fast-track carbon storage applications by moving them to the state level, while advancing plans to open up offshore acreage for carbon storage. Trump officials also talked up the benefits of CCS at this week’s Offshore Technology Conference.
