US SAF Sector Faces Trump Turbulence

The US sustainable aviation fuels (SAF) sector had been gathering clear momentum in recent years, but the sector is facing new turbulence under President Donald Trump's administration. Incentives such as federal loan facilities and tax credits for SAF are at risk of elimination or phaseout, as is the SAF Grand Challenge set under Trump predecessor Joe Biden, which sent a broad signal in favor of expanding SAF production over time.
