They are following their main US and Canadian peers out the door after almost all of them walked away from the alliance shortly after anti-ESG US President Donald Trump was re-elected last year. In reaction to this exodus, an "overwhelming majority" of the remaining NZBA members have decided earlier this month to loosen the group's requirements.
