  • The Energy Information Administration has scrapped the publication this year of its closely monitored International Energy Outlook after Elon Musk’s infamous chainsaw triggered staffing cuts at the agency. Now, market watchers are sounding the alarm, warning that market-relevant data put out by the EIA could be reduced or even politicized as US President Donald Trump pushes his “Energy Dominance” agenda. “EIA data is the lifeblood of what the industry needs to do its job,” one industry source told ʶԳ.
