Economic and political turmoil around the world is understandably pushing climate action to the backburner. However, it is unlikely that the energy transition can be derailed — the business case for decarbonization has already been made in many respects, momentum is already going and green investing remains attractive. Those are some of the top messages delivered at the recent Columbia University Global Energy Summit in New York.
