China EVs Keep Momentum

China’s EV market maintained its growth momentum in the first quarter of 2025 as sales climbed 36% year on year to 2.4 million units, according to the China Passenger Car Association (CPCA). CPCA Secretary General Dongshu Cui said the growth was being “driven by national policies to boost consumption,” noting in a statement that many provinces and cities have introduced corresponding measures.
