EV Battery Swaps Advance in China

China's leading battery manufacturer, CATL, and state-owned oil company Sinopec signed a strategic cooperation agreement earlier this month to jointly build a national battery swap network. The partners plan to build at least 500 battery swap stations in 2025 with a long-term goal of expanding the network to 10,000 stations.
