The upgraded batteries boast a range of 800 km on one charge with a peak charging speed of 2.5 km per second, the company told a gathering in Shanghai. The announcement further solidifies China鈥檚 dominance in battery innovation. Last month, BYD 鈥� China鈥檚 leading EV maker 鈥� unveiled its ultrafast charging technology, capable of delivering 400 km of range in five minutes.
