About Sam

SAMUEL UDELL is a Junior Research Analyst. Key focus areas of ʶԳ Research include the energy transition, corporate strategy and competitor intelligence, oil and gas/LNG markets and aboveground risk.

Mr Udell works primarily on regional macroeconomics, operating conditions and political trends in Latin America, including energy markets, geopolitics, aboveground risk and the regional effects of the energy transition. He also contributes to Competitive Intelligence Research by examining corporate strategies of key national oil companies in this region.

Prior to joining ʶԳ, Mr Udell worked as a Research Assistant for the Global Resilience Institute at Northeastern University, where he assisted with research projects related to climate and energy resiliency, Native American tribal relations and economic development for economically-distressed and low-income communities. He also has experience in risk management and financial services from his time as a Recovery and Resolution Planning analyst at State Street Corporation.

Mr Udell holds a BS in Economics/Business Administration from Northeastern University's D'Amore McKim School of Business.
