We see the momentum building behind methane emissions cuts at COP28 as a positive — and overdue — development. With more countries on board in the battle against the greenhouse gas whose warming power is far greater than that of CO2, and clearer guidance emerging on what operators need to do, it now remains for the oil and gas industry to move on with the task at hand.
