Abu Dhabi clean energy firm Masdar has signed an agreement with Kazakhstan’s sovereign wealth fund, Somruk-Kazyna, to develop a "24-7" project providing up to 500 megawatts of baseload renewable energy along with battery energy storage systems with up to 2 gigawatts of capacity.
