May gas futures inched 0.7¢ higher Friday to $2.937 per million Btu, as mild weather, strong production and bearish storage optics continued to weigh on the market. "With storage injections this month at the fastest late-April fills seen in recent memory and Asian LNG demand slowing, bulls would need an early-May heat wave or a stabilization of LNG nomination volatility," Gelber & Associates said.
