June gas futures shot 15.8¢ higher Wednesday to $3.621 per million Btu. “Dry gas production continues to remain depressed with production at 104.1 Bcf/d,” Gelber & Associates said. LNG feed gas demand rose to 14.1 Bcf/d from 12.52 Bcf/d, they added, “which helped ease fears of a longer-term Freeport outage” after the LNG plant’s operator on Tuesday confirmed a disruption from a power outage.
