After dropping to a low of $3.57, June gas futures inched 0.1¢ higher on the day to settle Tuesday at $3.647 per million Btu. Mild temperatures expected in the next seven to 15 days and strong wind power production may weigh on demand, NatGasWeather.com said. But it noted that LNG feed gas demand is recovering toward 16 billion cubic feet per day and record temperatures are expected in Texas this week that could lead to strong local gas use for power generation.
