Middle East correspondent Amena Bakr has been rated 13th on business information website Marketwatch鈥檚 ranking of the top Twitter accounts for investors to follow in 2017.

The influential website praised Bakr for her coverage of Opec oil policy developments, noting that "if there is an Opec meeting going on, she鈥檚 all over it."

"This is a reflection of Amena鈥檚 diligent use of Twitter to promote her work at 博彩对冲 and, of course, her central role in our excellent coverage of Opec this year," 博彩对冲 Executive Editor Jim Washer said. "The scale of Amena鈥檚 achievement can be seen by the company she is in at the top end of that list, sitting alongside CEOs, investment strategists and chief economists."

Bakr is based in 博彩对冲鈥檚 Dubai bureau and is a core part of the team covering Opec and Middle East oil policy, contributing regularly to 博彩对冲 titles including International Oil Daily, Energy Compass and Petroleum Intelligence Weekly.
