European budget airline easyJet says it is using French midstream SAF aggregator Atoba Energy alongside jet fuel supply and logistics firm World Fuel Services (WFS) to help guarantee long-term SAF supplies for its European and UK operations. "By addressing the long-term offtake challenges that have hindered investment in SAF projects, Atoba’s approach paves the way for accelerated industry expansion, greater investment confidence and credible pricing and supply security for easyJet,” the airline's director of tax and fuel strategy, Raminder Shergill, said in an Apr. 29 statement.
