Shutterstock Save for later Print Download Share Prospective laser enricher Global Laser Enrichment (GLE) ramped up uranium enrichment testing as part of its effort to demonstrate technology readiness level six. GLE, which is 49% owned by Canada’s Cameco and 51% by Australia’s Silex, aims to complete the TRL 6 testing by the end of 2025, at which point GLE "expects to generate hundreds of kilograms of enriched uranium." GLE hopes to begin commercial uranium enrichment around 2030.
