The big announcements are mostly over, and the hard work is beginning. The center of attention is the 24-page draft “global stocktake” text that landed at COP on Tuesday — and was immediately subjected to furious revisions and edits, and apparently prolonged ones. As of late Wednesday, a revised version had yet to surface.
