Jet fuel consumption in North America got off to a strong start in 2025. Airline fuel liftings in the US, Canada and Mexico totaled nearly 1.9 million b/d, or 4.6% ahead of year-earlier volumes. The US accounted for most of that gain, as demand climbed to 1.62 b/d, or 5.5% ahead of 2024 levels. Canadian usage was 2.5% higher at 98,000 b/d, while Mexico's consumption dropped by 5.6% to 98,000 b/d as winter tourism subsided.
