Washington will pursue a Section 232 investigation to “determine the effects on national security” on imports of critical minerals, including uranium, and their “derivative products,” with the potential to impose tariffs or other import restrictions and policies to incentivize domestic production and processing, according to an Apr. 15 executive order.
